This little fart started crawling out of the crib. We figured it was safer for him to just move out of a crib for good. He is officially in his big bed! I thought that I would have issues keeping him in his bed, but I put a child lock on the inside of his door and just the threat of closing his door keeps him in his bed! He makes Mom and Dad take turns laying with him in his big bed. Even if one does it, the other still has to come in. If not, he wanders out into the hall and says, "Daddy big bed" or "Mommy big bed."
That means this little beaner has the big crib now. She's all swaddled up like a little bean. You can now see why we call her the Lulu Bean.
My kids go down for bed pretty good once you check off everything on their list. Landon has his little bedtime routine that he has to do before he goes to bed. He has all his stuffed animals tucked in around him, his music on - but you can't start it early or he'll make it start it over, his night light is on the pillow next to him, and his water bottle handy in case he gets thirsty in the night. He always wants me to lay with him and won't go to bed without a hug and a kiss. Leah loves to have someone come cuddle with her before going to bed. She tries to negotiate the number of songs that you'll spend with her before you leave. She usually talks to her stuffed animals for a while after you leave her room...usually Belle, Zebra, or little pootoo dog. I love that they still want me to put them down, so as long as they keep asking I will gladly lay with them for a song or two!
