Yuma

We headed over to Yuma yesterday to get out of the valley. We found this awesome park. I wish I would have taken a picture of the entire thing. There was a huge castle that had slides galore. The biggest one made it so you were coming out of a Dragons mouth. We all had a blast going down them, even Mr. baby Logan. We will defiantly be making a trip back there.

Sunday Best.

Just wanted to show off my cute little family. THese were taken on our way into Church on Christmas Sunday. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!

Holiday Fun!

We have tried to keep busy during Logan's naps with projects. The Lilos are at a fun stage and love to color, glue, paint, cut, and stamp anything and everything. They like it even more if there is candy involved:) Here are some of our latest holiday creations.

Merry Christmas!!!

Christmas came a day early for the Nielsen Family this year. Since we have church tomorrow at 9, we decided to ask Santa to come a day early. We wanted to enjoy Christmas morning and not be rushed getting to Church (since we barely make it there on time when it's not Christmas!) This year was super fun with the Lilos. They have been asking everyday since Thanksgiving if they can open the gifts under the tree and to my surprise they did not touch them until today. Landon asked Santa for a Mac Truck and soccer ball and Leah asked for a Barbie and a horse-Santa did not disappoint! It was fun to sit back and let them have freedom opening all thier gifts, Logan's, and ours. The kiddos were spoiled again this year with more toys and treats then they know what to do with. As we get ready for church tomorrow I am so grateful for the gifts the the Lord has given me. I am grateful for my family, for my husband, for the gospel and for the atonement of Christ. I am truly blessed. Hopefully tomorrow we can keep the true meaning of Christmas in our hearts. Merry Christmas!!!

Christmas Eve.

All in their PJ's.

Waiting to come downstairs.

It's nice to live where its warm. Later we went outside to play with the Lilo Mans soccer ball and let the bugs horse run in the grass. I do miss having a white Christmas...but only for a second:)

Polar Express Party!

Our ward Christmas Party this year was a Polar Express theme. The kiddos had fun at Santa's worksop making trains, drinking hot chocolate and sitting on Santa's lap. Sadly I think this is the first time Landon and Leah have sat on Santa's lap. They were excited to tell them what they wanted for Christmas and Santa gave them a bell from his slay. Lots of Fun...until next year.

Light Parade

One of the perks of not having a white Christmas is that we can have a parade in the middle of December. The kiddos loved it. There was all sorts of trucks, 4 wheelers, razors, mack trucks, and bikes for Landon to be fully entertained. Leah enjoyed the horses and dogs that were in the parade. We will defiantly put it on our calendar for next year.

I could just eat him.

Landon wanted his dad to look and every car that was passing.

Jer bought the kids some light toys.

Family Pictures 2011

I am like my dad when it comes to Family pictures, I think that you should have one every year. Jer and I have since we were married it's fun to look back at them from time to time. This year has been a little bit of a scramble to get it done. I would have liked to have done it in the summer when we were in Utah and had a tan(who doesn't look better with a tan:). Since I was prego that was not going to happen. I think this might be the most frustrating photo shoot yet. Logan is usually a very happy baby, but for pictures he was super grumpy and we shortly found out why. He pooped EVERYWHERE. It was one of the worst blow outs that I have seen. After that he was out cold. Landon and Leah are fairly used to a camera in front of their face, but we could not get them to look at the camera for the life of us. When they did look at the camera it was not at the same time, or they weren't smiling, or their hand was up, or mom and dad had a goofy face. Needless to say I am happy that we at least had one decent shot of the whole family. Until next year....
