Pumpkin Patch.

We went to a little Pumpkin patch here in the parking lot of the mall. It was not much, but we it served its purpose. We got to pick out some pumpkins for the Lilos. They seemed to be more interested in the straw covering the ground than the pumpkins themselves. It was probably good we didn't travel half the day to go to a real pumpkin patch because the kids "fun meter" was maxed out after about ten minutes. The pictures below captured all the excitement.

We had just got there...not so sure.

...still not sure.

The bug showing us the straw.

The pumpkin had to have a face for him to be interested.

She's cute.

UTAH!!!!

We were able to go to Utah this last week. It has taken me two days to get all the posts up, and there is still a lot more I could post about, but this will do for now. We were able to celebrate the lilos first birthday, go horse back riding, visit the zoo, attend the temple, play with cousins, and enjoy the beautiful fall mountains. It is nice to be home in our own beds, but I miss family a ton.

Horses, Dogs, and Dirt!

Cute Lori let us come up to her barn and check out her new puppies, ride the horses, and make some ghosts out of suckers. The lilos loved riding the horses. I was surprised because they hated the carousel at the zoo. Maybe they just like the real thing.

Landon...not so much.

LuAnns Head stone

We were able to go and see LuAnns headstone while we were there. Lynn picked out a beautiful black one and Mer did a really good job with the flowers. It was weird not to have her there. we all miss and love her.

The Zoo!

My kids love animals so we took them to the zoo while we were in Utah. We had a ton of family with us and unfortunately got split up into two groups. The lilos loved all the animals but hated the stroller. I'm not sure why we brought it. They wanted to be out and close to the animals. Leah would have got in the cage if we would have let her.

Party Time!

We were able to celebrate the Lilos party in Utah with all the cousins, grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, and uncles(as you can see from the pictures). I thought that the lilos would make a mess with their cake, but they kept it pretty clean. It could have been the fact that 30 people were watching them eat their cake. Landon was two fisting his cake while humming the whole time. The bug was pretty dainty with hers. She also didn't feel very good for her party but still had a good time.

Happy Birthday!

It was a year ago today that our lives changed forever. It's weird to think that it's been a year already. I don't remember much of the hospital to tell you the honest truth with all the medications that I was on, but I do remember the wonderful feeling of holding my babies for the first time. We have been blessed with two happy healthy babies. I was not a pro with blogging at the time so here are some of the shots from the hospital. We are going to celebrate their birthday in Utah so there will be more pictures coming soon. I have learned a lot over the last year and put together a list of the top ten things that I have learned so here it goes;
1. Sleep is for the weak, therefore I am weak.
2. Nursing twins is beneficial for the babies, it's cheaper, but it does NOT make you skinny.
3. Jer is still unable to multitask.
4. Two is twice the work but twice the fun.
5. The bigger they get the more fun they get.
6. It's no longer your schedule, it's their schedule.
7. It's hard to discipline your kids when they laugh at you.
8. Apparently round trip flights only go from Tucson to Salt Lake and not the other way around.
9. Mom's idea of clean is not the same as dad's.
10. Hearing your baby laugh makes all the struggles melt away.

Crazy Lilos....

Its been a crazy month trying to keep up with the lilos. They are all over the place. They are starting to stand on their own and take steps, it's only a matter of time before they are walking. We have been cutting teeth for the last month between the two which makes for good and bad days. We are all done nursing for real this time. I know that I have threatened many times, but its official this time. I thought that I would have no problem giving it up, but I have to admit it was a lot harder then I thought.
Here are the lilos busy in my cupboards.
