Moving.

A successful Garage sale leaves a very empty house. Things are getting real.

Trying to make brownies for dinner and the pan shattered 15 minutes in to the bake. Not sure what happened. Guess it's one less pan we need to take home.

Our room is the new hang out.

Leah on her final playdate to fun land with her best friend JoAnn.
Landon and Leah played a duet in Sacrament for our final Sunday here. It's nice to hear them play together and that all the lessons are paying off!

Let the Tetris game begin!

Focus.

Landon and Leah are part of Focus at Winding Creek Elem. It's a program that the kids have to recommended by their teacher and then are tested to be accepted into the program. This year Landon a Leah had to do an independent study project as a part of the program. Landon choose Precious Gemstones and Leah those Fashion Design. The both worked really hard and created power point presentations to present their research and findings. They presented the projects to their class and then were able to attend the Focus Festival. This is a chance for all student in Focus to present their project to everyone.

Landon asked if he could take my ring and sapphire to show his class...yep didn't happen!

Landon also won 1st in "Masters Challenge". For 8 weeks the kids who joined the program were given Math test to challenge their Math skills. Landon had the highest overall score! Pretty proud of him! Good job buddy!

Inventions, safety, and playing ball.

This kid is killing me lately with the stiff he comes up with. Tonight it was trying to get all his quixels on his lamp to power them up to glow in the dark.

Then it was his invention to make a loud noise in the morning to wake him up. Mr. Goose my little inventor.

Logan wanted to go to his friends birthday party, but I never received an invite so I told him NO. He asked if he could go check the mailbox and came back with this. Jer let him go, he did take a present and it was two door down. Love this kid and his determination to get what he wants.

Nothing but safety at our house! Shin-gaurds on the elbows just in case she falls.

The kids are obsessed with playing soccer out in the circle and I am loving that the weather is allowing them. Taking full advantage of time with friends before we head back to Utah.

Gaga ball in the basement is a regular occurrence lately.

Spelling, ice cream, teeth, and yellow brick road!

I had Logan do his spelling words. He made a boat and wrote them on the base of it. he is a creative and artistic little fart! I love it!

Enjoying the 85 degrees while I listen to her sing and dance and sign hearts to me!

Ice cream truck on hot days is the best!

Logan had a wiggly tooth so I tied it to a nerf gun and made him shoot it. It failed the first 2 times but the third time was the charm!

Yellow brick road one last time with my favorite with my love. I finally got to run the whole thing.

DC Cherry Blossom Festival.

The Cherry Blossoms in DC! We finally braved the crowds and attended the DC Cherry Blossom festival. We decided to go up in Friday when Jer got off work so we didn't have  a lot of daylight, but it was supposed to snow Saturday and we didn't want them to be ruined. All our allergies were going crazy but the blossoms were beautiful. We saw what we wanted, had a little dinner picnic, and played some football around tidal basin. DC at night is beautiful with all the monument lit up! The kids favorite part of the whole night was metro surfing. We decided to take the metro to not deal with downtown traffic and parking! Turned out to be the best decision and most memorable part of the night!
