Cub Day Camp.

Landon Participated in Cub day camp and had an absolute ball while he was there. I wish that he could have worked on his bear since he has already completed his Wolf!

Girls Camp.

Alish and I did a swap since we were both Camp directors this year. My kids thought it was the greatest thing to have friends here overnight!

Girls camp was fun. We had a Harry Potter theme. We started with a rope course before heading to Catoctin National Park. We played games, crafted, had lots of yummy food! The weather was ideal! I even roped Jer into coming up as priesthood which was a huge help because he had to play a mean game of tetris to get all the gear home!

My kids loved being at the Andersons and I'm grateful to have friends that I can leave them with.

Pool, 7-11, Logan's tooth, and Stafford rocks.

Sunday's call for ice-cream and crazy faces.

The pool shenanigans.

Free Slurpees on 7-11

Logan lost his first tooth. He hit his face walking around hill Cumorah (Shocker) and knocked it loose. We finally convinced him to pull it out. We tied floss to it and had him drop a heavy bag, it worked wonderfully.

Lacey finally joined the Stafford rock club. All the kids had found one but her. Leah and Logan were going to paint one and hide it so she could find one, but she did it all by herself and was happy as could be!

Day 4 Gettysburg!

Jer and I absolutely loved driving through Gettysburg. The kid on the other hand were not as entertained.

Kids favorite part finding Sadie the loyal dog that was in battle.

The kids were happier drawing in the dirt then looking at the monuments!

Looking for relics.

Leah found a Stafford rock.

Devil Den.

Little big top.

Pennsylvania Monument. the kids liked that you could hike to the top of this one!

Walking the national Cemetery. It was a neat experience that I wish my kids would have appreciated a little more, but glad that we had the opportunity to be there.

Day 3 Priesthood Restoration and Hershey.

We broke up the long drive and stopped at the Priesthood restoration site. They just completed it in 2015 and it was well worth the stop. We saw were the last part of the Book of Mormon was translated, the sugar bush field where the angles appeared to Joseph,  and Joseph and Mary's house.

Walking down to the Susquehanna River where Joseph and Oliver were baptized.

These long days are rough on this little one!

Ended the day at the Hershey Factory.  They have a ride that shows you how they make their chocolate that the kids thought was great and we got a chocolate bar at the end! We even made Jers dream some true and bought the giant chocolate bar!!

Day 2 Smith Farm Palmyra.

We wanted to take the kids to the hill Cumorah pageant and it did not disappoint. What a wonderful production and great missionary tool!

The top of the hill.

Palmyra Temple. If we were really thinking we would have tried to do a session there. Next time will plan a little better!

Smith Farm. WE thought it was pretty neat to be there and hear the stories of Joseph and his family and his trails to get and keep the plates.

Hiding in the barn waiting for the rain to pass.

Absolutely loved the Sacred Grove!

Ended the day at the Book of Mormon publication site. Amazing how intricate and taxing it was to make one copy. No wonder it took them 2 year to complete the first 5000.
