We spent the morning playing in the Rappahannock river. We have heard that its a great place to stay cool in the summer so we tried it out. Luckily I brought goggles(they happen to be in the swim bag) because all we saw was the kids backsides as they tried all day to catch the little fish in the river. It was so much fun, super clear water, and the current was really slow...I was still a nervous mess. We will be back many times I'm sure! It was even better that we got to spend the day with the Anderson's!
