January round up!

Jer using his Christmas hat to light out night walk.

Lacey missed the poppers for New years, so we finally got around to setting them off.

Making his no-bake. Every cupboard open and many dishes later we had deliciousness.

Playing apples to apples.

Gaga ball our new favorite.

Leah had a Open floor gymnastics. Usually they don't allow viewing for their gymnastics so this was a treat to be able to see her in action.

Painting and cookie decorating during all the snow days!

We read the about the earths creation in the scriptures for FHE and the kids had to act out and do interpretive dance while we read it. It was hilarious and very educational!

Missy and Jer!

Missy ans Jer came into town for the weekend! We happened to be the worst hosts ever, but my kids love being with them and were slightly disappointed that they didn't bring their kids. Jer took Jer to work and ended up sitting in a meeting all morning with him in tow(Sorry Jer). They were able to shoot in the afternoon and get a swim in. I had a babysitter set up so we could have date night with the Terry's. I was awful to take pictures of the weekend so here is the ones that I have.

I dragged Missy to my High class in hopes that she would want to get verified and teach with me...I don't think it worked.

Missy taught us to play 10,000!

Jer Terry was all for the rough housing.

We took them over to the Marine Corps E course. Missy and Jer are super in shape so we tried to keep up! The kids love this obstacle course and all I could think is how much the Terry boys would love it!

I didn't have any plans for Saturday night and felt a little lame that they came cross county to sit around and play with the kids. We could have gone to a museum or battle sight, but to be honest I was just happy to hang out and spend as much quality time with Meliss as possible.  We had a Gaga ball tournament and watched pirates of the Caribbean and ate ice cream. She is the reason that I want to be back in Utah and I love that she got to come out for the 2 quickest days of our time in Virginia!

Final Cruise Days.

The last 2 days of the cruise were cruising days. The first day was super rough. Breakfast was on the top floor and at the front of the ship, so with the rough seas ALL of the kids ended up puking at breakfast. Luckily for me I was able to find a patch and it was wonderful!! So we had to stay away from the front of the ship for while and ate in the formal dining for the day.

The kids loved coming in to find the towel animals every night. We were able to attend a class and learn how to make them ourselves.

The seas settled and were were able to get a little more play in on the top deck. We had a family game of giant Jenga.

And we all loved the rock climbing wall.

It was a fun cruise even though we were shorted 2 days and had crappy weather. It was so fun to be with Grandpa and Nanda Cindy.

Cruise Day 3-4.

After cruising we ended up in Nassau. I feel like most of our pictures are us eating. Maybe because that was half of what we did on the cruise! And we ate well. We got to know out waiter and assistant waiter and they were awesome with our kids. They would have fruit bowls waiting for us when we would arrive and call us by name. It was still super windy and overcast, but again, we tried to make the most of it. We made a trip to all the shops in town that had deals with the ship for all the free charms, necklaces, and coins. We spent the rest of the day at the beach. Not ideal beach conditions but the kids didn't care and playing in waves and dug in the sand and had fun.

Grandpa was let them experience coconut juice...they weren't huge fans.

We let the kids pick souvenirs and Leah got her hair braided. It was a bit of a headache and ended up being a LOT more then we expected, but she liked the way it turned out.

Our kids LOVED the kids zone and would have spent every minute that they could in there. Landon was obsessed with a game "gaga ball" that they would have tournaments. It was nice for Jer and I and we had date night almost every morning and night. One night was a movie on the top deck.

We weren't able to go to the private island because the seas were too rough and we couldn't be tendered in. So we ended up sating a second day in Nassau, but it rained so we spent the day inside going to movies, swimming in the adult pool, more eating-shocker, and then some time in the kids zone.
