Screw!

Logan: Mom don't be mad
Mom: What did you do?!
Logan: You know those things that dad uses that has a flat side and spins and fixes stuff...
Mom: You mean a screw?
Logan: Yeah one of those! One went down my throat.
Mom: You swallowed a screw! Why was it in your mouth!!!!
Logan: It wasn't, it was by my mouth and then went down my throat!

This Kid is going to test every limit. I would have had no idea that he swallowed it if he didn't tell me. He didn't choke, cough, or complain of pain. The nurse checking us in even asked "did he really swallow something?" At that point I wasn't sure he did but didn't want to take a chance! Sure enough the x-ray came back with a big old screw. I was a nervous wreck the whole time. They just have to make sure it gets out of the stomach on its won, but then they just let things like this pass on their own. By medial standards it was a sharp object, although it's a screw. It only took two days and three bags of poop and we found it no problems! Hopefully he has learned his lesson...Hopefully!

This stuff always seems to happen when Jer is out of town. This is him trying to out me laugh and lighten the situation! I love him and his effort, but I wasn't in the mood, I just wanted him home and the screw out!!

My bed!

Its a love/hate relationship having these kids in my bed while Jer is gone out of town!

Surviving without Dad!

Just trying to survive our time without dad around.

Pickle ball at the park with my girls!

Trick on the tramp for days!

Lacrosse started for this little guy. It's a whole new ball game for me. He seem to really enjoy it though. I guess I should learn the rules:)

Meliss knows me all too well and some days, in my case months, need a paradise cookie!! I was nice and shared only because I really am trying to be good and could eat the whole dozen by myself!!

Final days of Summer!

I'm having a hard time with school starting and the weather still being so nice letting summer die! So we are spending a lot of time outside before the weather turns on us...because in Utah it can get ugly real fast!! Dropping the kids off at school we took a minute to play on the playground.

Picnic on the plates turned into blanket rides down the slide.

Getting ready for the kids Triathlon and enjoying the evening with a lovely bike ride!

I loved this shot of all of us, it did make me miss Jer being out here with us!

Trying to fit in swimming before Grandma shuts down her pool for the winter.

Movie night and playing hairdresser. I could have them play with my hair all night, I absolutely love it!

Slip-n-slide and popsicles for a enjoyable Saturday.

Getting our swim in at the rec center on last time before the kids tri. Meliss and I took all the kids just the two of us...we're idiots sometimes. Luckily Channy showed up to help out with the hoard!

Jer left on a TDY for 5 weeks. He left me this! I really did get super with him!

Staying busy while Jer is gone with cousins!

Bottle rockets for hours of entertainment!

Trying to fit it all in before summer ends and trying to stay busy while dad is away!! So we hit up Lagoon one last time before school started and it 's only open on the weekends!

Epic Paintball Battle!

Before we moved away we would always go to Rick and Loris cabin and play paintball. We finally got the gang back together and had our annual paintball battle. Sadly we were missing Dad on his TDY but Landon played this year and only cried a little.

Not really good at finding cover!

First time getting hit.

All the boys were hit in the same leg .

Loving being outside in the dirt and nature.

Uncle Jer was nice to take the littles and let them shoot the paintball gun on one of the breaks.

Loving the dirt.

Leah was al about razor rides and watching the babies in the trailer.

They were all on the hunt for extra pinballs.

At the end they all unloaded their guns. I think this is really what they wanted to do the whole time. Most of the younger kids would come back halfway through the round for more ammo not because they had been hit!

A dirty mess finding paintballs in the dirt!

Loving soem cousin time.

The rest of the time was spent riding motorcycles and 4-wheeler. It was an awesome weekend!

Loving us some smores out by the fire!
