Camping, Kabobs, and Crazy lilos!

This weekend we went up carr canyon to have dinner with some friends who were camping. Landon is a born camper. He loved the bumpy ride up, the dirt, the fire, and being free to wonder. Leah on the other hand was not a fan of the ride up, in fact, she cried most of the way saying "all done". It took her a while to warm up to the camp site even, she stayed with Jer or I for the first little bit. I think her favorite part was having chairs her size. Overall it was a fun experience for the two of them. Maybe next time we will be brave enough to spend the night.

"Double Trouble" with their mouths full of goodies.

Cheese!

The bug testing out the durability of the Anderson's tent.

Everyone roasting hot dogs.

The Lilos helping Dad roast their hot dogs.

Leah mooching off Alish.

The muntz jumping off rocks!

Da bug chilling with her Dad.

Last night I made Kabobs for dinner and they were a hit. I think the lilos loved to hold the stick, but whatever gets them to eat at this point I'll take it!

Here are some pictures of my Crazy Lilos. I Laughed at the bugs hair the other day after her nap. It was CRAZY! The picture doesn't do it justice. Her piggy was sticking up and she had a unicorn in the very front. Gotta love the nap hair. Anyway when I was taking her picture Landon was behind me saying "cheese" so I had to take a picture of him.

"Boo" this is their new hiding spot. They think that are hilarious when they are behind the chair. I think they are pretty cute myself:)

Happy Mother's Day!!!

I had a fabulous Mother's Day weekend. It started on Friday when Jer and i took our little family to the Gila Valley Temple open house. Now our closest temple is only 2 hours away-YEA! We stayed the night in Safford so that I could usher at the temple on Saturday morning. It was a neat experience and it's a beautiful temple. When we got home my cute friend Blake had brought flowers by and some yummy cookies. It was a perfect way to end the weekend. Sunday Jer was in charge the whole day. He changed every diaper, cooked all the meals, and cleaned up all the messes. After the kids went down he even rubbed my feet. I have to say that I truly enjoy being a mother. This time last year I didn't have the same attitude. I hated motherhood and was regretting my decision to start a family. I'm sad that I ever felt that way and I'm happy to say that having kids is the best thing that I have ever done with my life. I love my kids to death and I can't believe the joy that they have brought into my life. I can't imagine life without them. They make me laugh everyday and I am amazed how smart they are getting. Wub them!

My cute Cuddle Bug.

Funny Story: Landon is a pretty good talker. Lots better then the bug. She says words but is picky about what and when she will say things. Landon on the other hand repeats anything that you say. He is good about saying all the syllables in a word too like; orange, apple, help pease, truck, car, tractor, shoe, bug, see you, etc. You get the idea. I made muffins the other day and he came into the bedroom saying "fuff-eye" and he kept repeating it. I told him to show me what he wanted and he took me to the kitchen and pointed to the muffins and said "fuff-eye". I looked at him and said "do you want a muffin?" he shook his head yes and said "fuff-eye". I kept trying to get him to say muffin, but he just kept saying "fuff-eye". I guess he can't be perfect all the time:)

Happy Anniversary!

On Friday Jer and I celebrated our 6th anniversary. We got a babysitter and enjoyed a night out together. Being married to Jeremy is so much fun, there is not a day that goes by that I don't laugh. Jer is an incredible husband and father and I am so grateful to be married to him. He has more patience and love than anyone that I know and makes life joyful. I look forward to the next 60 years! Here is a look over the years. We just got a new computer so I don't have all the pictures moved over yet, but you get the idea.
