5 Months

5 months and loving it! The goose is seriously the best baby ever. He is happy all the time, and I mean all the time. He loves watching the kids play and thinks his dad is hilarious. The Dr. gave us the okay to start rice cereal because he doubled his birth weight(no surprise there). So, last week we started him on rice cereal and he eats like a pro. He also cut his two bottom teeth this last week, he is starting to sit up on his own, and absolutely loves his showers. I love this little guy to pieces.

I know we need to get a high chair. I think the bumbo cuts off the circulation to his chubby legs!

Landon

Landon is a curious little boy. I feel like there isn't a second of the day that goes by that this kid is not asking a question. "Mom what's he doing" "where is that car going" "why is that tractor stopped" you get the idea. During movies is the worst. He just can't sit there and watch. THe other hard part to this is now he follows up your answer with "Why" so it is a never ending cycle of questions and answers. BUT, this in one of the reasons that I love this kid so much!
Landon wants to help with whatever you are doing. DIshes, yard work, cooking, cleaning, fixing stuff, you name the kid wants to be right by your side helping. He also want to be doing it just like you. If you have gloves on he wants gloves on. I hope that this is something that he never stops doing. Jer and I try to be good about letting him help so he never looses the desire too. Here are just a few of the picture that I have of my little helper.

I love this one with his tongue out.

THis kids loves his little brother. I feel that I am on the defense all the time to protect poor Logan. Landon wants to hold him all the time and is always in his face. When he wakes up Landon is the first to go running and climbs up on his crib and start talking to his saying "hi baby logan that was a great nap"

Leah

I realize that time goes by way to fast and as I look over my blog I realize that I could be better at keeping track of the little things that my kids do. I was going through some pictures and found some of these treasures. Leah is big into animals. She has substituted animals for babies. I find her doggie "shiver" in Logan's car seat all the time, buckled and all. SHe puts he dog in the bumbo to eat and even puts them down for a nap. She them goes around telling all of us to be quiet so we don't wake her doggies. They go to bed with her and when she is sad that is what she asks for. She has started acting like a kitty too. She crawls around meowing and picking up stuff with her mouth. She stays in character until I tell her that I need Leah here and not the kitty. It's pretty cute. Maybe she will be a vet or something when she gets older.

She also loves to talk to herself in the mirror. She comes by it honestly from her dad! The had part is getting it on film. SHe also loves to sit a sing songs that she makes up. Most of the time they start out with a song that she know but then she goes off on her own lyrics.

Leah has some hair when she wakes up in the morning. I don't know what she does at night but in the morning it is CRAZY. Here it is in all its glory.

Happy Valentines Day!!

We had a quiet year. Jer made me breakfast in bed and had this huge card waiting for me when I came down. He made the kiddos breakfast before he headed to work. The Lilos and I made some valentines cupcakes to take to friends and then I made Jer his favorite pork for dinner. All in all a great day!

4 Months

We are a little behind with our well-checks, but here are the 4 month stats.
Height: 26 inches
Weight: 19 1/2 pounds.

He is off the chart for weight and in the 97% for head and height. Luckily he is proportionate:) He is seriously the best baby ever. He is happy all the time and I mean all the time. He is constantly cooing and is very vocal. He giggles whenever he sees his dad and Landon and he is a flirt with the ladies. He is rolling side to side and loves grabbing his feet! He never really cries just gets a little fussy but as long as he is fed, has a clean bum, burped, and can see whats going on he is happy. I can drag him anywhere and he just goes with the flow. I thank Heavenly Father everyday for this little boy. I tell everyone that we needed a good baby to even think about having another one:)

Utah Recap!

I love spending time in Utah with my family. Over the last 7 months I have been in Utah for 4 of them. I love hanging out with family and letting the kiddos play with cousins. This last trip was lots different then in the summer. The kids were not whining all the time and they played well with cousins. I don't know how many time Landon asked if he could go play with the Terry boys and Leah loved to get away from the boys at Laineys house. I don't know where I would be without my family. I know its a lot for us to be there as long as we have over the last couple of months, but I am super appreciative to my fam for putting up with me and my kids. I know that my mom will be happy to have us gone because she gets to sleep in now:) Every morning while we were there they would skip my room and go straight into grandmas room and crawl into bed with her. She even tried to lock the door one morning to sleep a little longer. Landon just laid under the door yelling "grandma it's locked". Gotta love them:) One of my favorite things about being able to spend time in Utah is being close to Grandma Conk. My cute Grandma can barely see but tries to help in anyway she can. The babies love her. She sits and sings to them and has a hard time giving them up. Landon and Leah love her. They get excited when we get to go see Grandma Conk. I don't know how much longer she will be with us, but we will try to spend as much time with her while we still have her here.

We spent a weekend up with Nana Cindy and Grandpa Nielsen.

I dont think I can Thank Brecken enough for all her help. I hope that when she will bring her kids over to my house often so that I can return the favors:) She is so good with my kids. LOVE HER!!!

This is pretty much how it looked every morning when I went to find my kids

Lets Dance.

My cute niece Dayvis taught the little girls a dance last Sunday night. Leah loved every minute being with the girls and she love to dance! They put on a little show for all of us that were there. Maybe this is my clue that I need to get the bug into some dance classes.

The only thing I don't miss about Utah!!

It sad that the one thing that I hate about Utah is something that my kids love-Snow! I thought that they would cry because they were cold. I didn't have proper gloves for them just some little knit ones, but they never once complained about being cold. Landon loves being with the Terry boys and there is never a dull moment when they are around.

Sledding down the Terry's driveway. The snow was so heavy that Jer left a patch of snow right in the middle of their driveway. It was the perfect sledding hill. They didn't get all wet and cold and they could walk up the hill all by themselves.

Out helping Brecken shovel the snow.

Love the outfit!

Drew Hansen Terry

I was able to be in town when my twin sister Melissa had her baby on January 28. He was 6lbs 7 oz a little guy compared to her other boys that were all over 8lbs. I realize that this is the type of baby Miss Leah expected me to have. The first time she held Logan she told me he was too big. Drew is just as sweet as they come and has a ton of hair. I took a side shot of Missy because she always forgets to. She is such a beautiful pregnant lady and put me to shame because it's only been a week and she doesn't even look like she had a baby. I look up to both my sisters and the examples they are to me. They are both wonderful Mothers and I am so grateful for them.

Logan 4 Months Drew 4 days.

Circus, circus!

The Circus came to town so my mom and I took the kids. I was a little worried being there very out numbered by children. The kids did awesome. They loved watching the bear push the wagon, the elephants dance, the tigers play leap frog, the lady swinging in the hula hoops, the man juggle with fire, and mostly the cage with not 1 not 2, but 3 motorcycles in it. I don't think they truly understood how dangerous some of the acts were. Hopefully they come to El Centro one day and Jer can experience the Circus with us next time.
