8 Years!

8 Years?! It's hard to think that we have been married for 8 years! I love this man to death and could not have asked for a better husband and father. He makes life so much fun! We have had our ups and downs, but the longer we are married the more I love him. I look forward to eternity with him.

7 Months

Logan is 7 Months. He is such happy baby and we are so grateful to have him in our family. He is rolling and moving all over the place, thankfully not crawling, he likes food but not gerber-the real stuff, loves ears, is fully entertained by brother and sister, does not sleep through the night yet. Love this little chunk!

Let Summer Begin!!

Since we are already hitting temperature in the 100's we are enjoying the hose more then ever!

Rollie Pollie Olie!

Logan is officially rolling. I was totally fine placing him in one spot knowing that's were he was going to stay. It's just a matter of time where nothing in my house is safe:)

Eat dirt...literally!

I let Logan play in the sandbox for the first time with the lilos. He wasn't sure what to think at first, but I'm sure it will grow on him. He had a few helpings of dirt in his mouth but who doesn't need a little extra vitamins and minerals every now and again:)

Mmmmmm.

Who doesn't like to lick the beaters after you've mixed up some yummy goodness!

The point of the story.

For FHE the other night I wanted to do a lesson on honesty so I told the story of the boy who cried wolf. At the end of the story I asked Landon " So what happens if you lie" he replied " the wolf will eat my sheep" . At this point in the lesson I lost control because my dear sweet husband busted up laughing! If you know Jer you know that there is no ignoring the laugh and that you can't help but laugh yourself. Landon got the point of the boy who cried wolf story, but I'm not sure about the life lesson point that I was going for. At least he was listening...right?

Kung Fu Daddy.

Logan thinks his dad is hilarious. Jer likes to do fake kung fu with metal spoons from the kitchen. He hits the spoons together and spins and stabs while saying his made-up kung fu "why-ya/hi-ya". The goose was gut laughing. He is a happy giggly baby, but this was the hardest I have ever heard him laugh. The funny thing is we have Landon on film at about the same age laughing just as hard and the same silly kung fu. They really are their fathers sons:)

Paralyzing gut laugh!

Landon of course was in on the show:)

"Hoppy Easter"

The kids were so much fun this year for Easter! Landon woke up first and came into our room saying "mom, dad, the Easter bunny left eggs all over the stairs". He was so excited and couldn't resist picking them up he had a hard time staying in our room waiting. We let him go through his basket until Logan and Leah woke up. ONce they were awake the hunt was on. Easter literally threw-up at our house and I enjoyed watching the kids go on the hunt as much as they enjoyed it. Landon was all about the eggs out in the open. Leah came in behind and found all the hidden eggs. They both kept saying "I got all sorts of eggs". Logan was just a happy observer this year. Until Next Year Happy Easter!

Easter goodies.

I tried to get a picture all together before church. THe lilos are awful for pictures lately and Logan was just waking up. Not the best of all three, but you get the idea.

Dying Eggs

Sadly this is the first year that I have been brave enough to dye eggs with Landon and Leah. As we were doing it I realized why. It is a mess, but the kids had a ball! I think each egg was dyed several times. We finally just had to say enough. Just getting ready for the easter bunny:)

Let's go fly a kite.

It was super windy the other day and Leah wanted to fly a kite. Jer gave his best effort but I think the wind was just a little too strong. The kite kept getting wrapped around him. The bug was super patient and was able to fly her kite for a couple of seconds. It was some good entertainment.

We moved to the front yard to see if it would work better.

Working on the kite.

The kite getting wrapped around Jer.

Still working on it.

Landon could have cared less about the kite because there was a bike out back!

Me and the Goose watching the show.

First Hair Cut.

I cut Logan's hair! It was getting long but only on the top and some patches on the side so I decided to even it all up. The second I cut it I was sad. I'm still not sure how I feel about it, but he is handsome with or without hair:)

Before

After

Cowboy Up.

Landon and Leah found our cowboy hats and wore them around all day. When we went to the store they asked if they could ride the horse. How could I resist.

Mr. Mole

We have had a dumb mole digging up our backyard for a couple of weeks now. Daily we would find mounds of dirt randomly. Jer decided to get some traps and take care of the little suckers, and he did. One trap one kill. I thought that we would kill it and throw it away, but Jer had different plans. He put it in a glass Jer and took it to our neighbors to show it off. I told him no one wanted to see it, but I was wrong! Our neighbors wife came over a little later to see the mole. Jer was pretty proud of his kill. Hopefully that took care of the problem.
