Halloween 2012

We spent Halloween in Utah with cousins. We came up a few weeks early to be able to spend some extra time with aunt Brecky before she leaves on her mission. Grandma and Grandpa with the clan!
Landon and Leah with the Terry boys.
My cute kitty. She was done with trick-or-treating after about 3 houses.
Logan was all about the candy.
This is all I saw of Landon. He didn't leave Caters side all night.
We had fun dressing up as polygamist. Even Jer Terry joined in the fun. My favorite is Breckens pregnant belly.
We made some Halloween inspired pizza and got a little messy doing it.
They turned out pretty cute!
The kiddos loves making thier own.
Thanks Missy for the fun idea.
My cute little Grandma that is pretty much blind invited us down to legacy where she lives for games and trick-or-treating. We took the kids around to the games and then dragged my cute grandma, remember she can hardly see, through a haunted house that scared the kids half to death. My gandma had not idea what was going on as we were trying to drag the terrified kids through the maze of smoke and spider webs. I think we will skip the haunted house next year.

Trunk-or-Treat 2012

Last night was our wards annual Trunk-or-treat. The kids have been looking forward to it all week. They have been dying to wear their costumes since we got them. I enjoy the trunk or treat to be around friends and to be able to let the kids play and trick or treat in a safe environment. I was also glad we got to do some type of trick-or-treating with Jer since we will be in Utah for the 31st. A decent family picture.
The boys. Logan was a military man, Landon was swat, and Jer was an agent, original I know, but it went with his boys
I was a spider witch and Leah was my black kitty.
They had all sorts of games here are the kids doing the spider races. Leah about crawled over the table trying to win.
I was impressed with how far Landon got it with the first blow.
Logan was fascinated with the huge light. He also loved being free to roam wherever he wanted. He is a busy little boy lately.
Landon and Tyler were inseparable all night.
Jer scared Leah to death when she was reaching through the spider web to get the candy.
We also attempted a flash mob to "thriller". I say attempted because we were about 5 short of a mob. Jer was a little frustrated with me because I pulled him and the kids from "pumpkin putt putt" to come to the dance area. The DJ went missing so there was about 5 minutes of standing around for him. The kids were getting antsy and wanted to be back at the games. Jer was about ready to walk away but was a good sport and waited it out. I did so good to keep it a secret from him. I am awful at keeping secrets! I had a blast doing it and hopefully we can keep this part of the trunk-or-treat tradition:)
After the mob the kids took over on the dance floor. They were totally into it this year and this is where we spent the rest of our time dancing the night away!

San Diego or and Jer says "San Di-a-go"

Jer had to work in San Diego this week so of course we tagged along. We got there late Monday and met up with Jer after he finished work. Landon making a fort to help pass some time.
Logan enjoyed making faces at himself
We finally made it through the entire zoo.
They never look at the camera and I always get some goofy face. I still love them!
Leah wanted to see the Zebras. I love watching them climb up or under to see everything
Logan was the tour guide.
Playing on the elephants.
Lovin' the tractors.
Landon bit his tongue and wanted a picture to see if it was bleeding. It's a pretty sad picture:(
Leah has asked to get her face painted every time we have gone to the zoo. I told her and Landon that they could this trip. Leah chose to be a kitty-no surprise there!
She loved every second of it!
Landon Chose the green monster face.
Lovin' it!
Logan quietly enjoyed his sucker while they got their faces painted.
Sadly about ten minutes after this picture Leah got a bloody nose. I felt so back. She had tears welling up in her eyes saying "do I still look like a kitty?" Luckily it just took the paint off right under her nose, so yes, she still looked like a kitty.
Wednesday we went to the park.
Landon dug with this tractor for at least an hour.
Leah has figured out how to cross the monkey bars.
We also went to the beach
Found some shells
Got our pants wet
Had lunch at the down by San Diego bay. Logan chased the birds.
I can't believe these things float.
We meet up with Jer around 4 for another zoo trip. This time we went for a ride on the sky tram. it's always so much fun when we get to have Jer there.
Logan loved walking along the grates. He would stop at each one and just pace back and forth.
Proof that I was a part of the trip;)
