New Year Eve!

We made it back up to Huntsville to spend New Years with cousins. We lit Lanterns and let them go out on the lake. It was freezing!! The kids didn't seem to mind but out fingers were frozen trying to light the Lanterns. It was neat to see them all lit in the sky! For sure doing it next year, but with a blow torch to save out hands!! We celebrated east coast time and put the littles to bed shortly after 10. Landon and Leah wanted to stay up till midnight...Leah is the one one that succeeded. Happy New Year! Looking forward to 2019.

Huntsville.

Everyone headed up to Huntsville for the break. We took the 4-wheeler and some tubes and the kids were entertained the entire time. It was freezing and they didn't care one bit. We love being by family, most of the time. We even took a dip in Grandpa's hot tub. Lots of little bodies in there.

Sledding!

Took the kids out sledding and they loved every minute of it. Finally enough snow and some good hills.

Lacey's 5!

My baby girl is 5! It was a super busy day and this little one had big plans for us all. She was nice enough to let Grandpa have some plans of his own as well. We woke up had pancakes and opened gifts. The whole Stuart crew came and picked her up to drive to Layton for Krispy Kreme donuts, which is a annual thing with Grandpa.  After we all went to kangaroo zoo and ended the family time with In and out burger. The rest of the day Lacey wanted to watch movies and have lasagna(like garfield) for dinner. We sure love this little one!

Christmas 2018!!

We had a great Christmas! Pretty simple this year and the kids were pretty spoiled!! It's different being back by family and having an agenda on Christmas day, but we still enjoy our time together while working in cousins.

Christmas Eve.

Busy evening for the Nielsen family. We tried to fit everything in. Went to grandmas for some dinner and an early gift. Came home for one more gift and some movies and puzzles. We tracked Santa till it was time for bed and the kids wanted to set up traps, but we shut that idea down.
