Memory Monday.

Jer has been out of town and as crazy as it is to be staying with Melissa I'm sure grateful to be here in his absents! Although my kids still might get a little neglected in all the chaos of everything! This picture was taken around noon when I picked up the kids from school. I had yet to shower her, pull her hair back, or clean the NUGO bar off her face. Some days I feel like I have it all together...this was not one of them.

Leah found some rocks that she was adamant that we bring them home. When I squashed that idea she resorted to burying them so she could play with them next week at Logans practice. My favorite thing about it all is that she roped some other little girls on the playground to help dig the hole, as long as they didn't touch the rocks!

We enjoyed a beautiful day a rocket park! Hard to believe there was snow last week.

Leah and Landon came up from the neighbors back yard saying "those walnuts down there taste awful". I asked her to go get me one and this is what she brought me, a peach pit! No wonder it tasted awful!!

This happened the day before Jer was supposed to get home from his work trip.

While we were out with the police Landon fell on the scooter and split his chin open. It was an awesome morning!

Over the weekend we made a stop at RC Willey! Why we brought kids I'm not sure, but with a fun dad and some stores we made it through!

Monday for FHE we cleaned the pool! As my dad says a family that cleans together stays together!

April Showers bring...SNOW!!

It started snowing last night and continued all throughout today. It's April and was 70 degrees before it started snowing! I HATE the snow and all day was thinking to myself, "Why did we move back?!"  Gratefully my kids LOVE the snow. They were out yesterday until I made them come in(All without proper snow attire). Today they played for 2 1/2 hours, luckily Missy hooked us up with some snow clothes.
Day 1 of the snow storm.

Day 2

Goose didn't want to put snow gloves on and we were short on boots for all of my kids. He only made it about a half hour before he was ready to come in. It did't help that the snow was super wet.

Trying to catch snowflakes.

Then Landon yelled, "Come eat it" Yep they all picked it up right where they were standing-genius. I think my favorite line on the night was when I asked Landon if he hit his friend in the face with a snowball and he said "I found it on the ground" sometimes he isn't that bright, mostly when he is in trouble.

Trying to knock all the snow off the wall by throwing snowballs at it.

Leah was working on a snowman, but after rolling it all over the yard it was only the size of a soccer ball. So, she attempted to throw in at the wall too. It only made it over the boys heads!

This is attempt number 2 to make a snowman.

Lulu woke up from her nap and finally let me put her boots on. (She has freaked out everytime before) She wasn't real sure of the white stuff still, but she was the only one of my kids that had the proper snow boot to be playing outside!

Nothing beats a cup of hot chocolate on a cold snowy day! One of my favorite things to have when it is cold!

Day 3
The snow stayed for one more day, so we played some more!
It was mostly puddle stomping for these two. They were soaking wet and loving this puddle.

They would have to bend down every so often to touch the FREEZING cold water and then would go right back to stomping!

They were in the process of building an igloo that quickly turned into a wall for snowball fights!

My favorite was them picking up the snow to eat it for "fuel"

Breaking up the big snowball to build up the wall a little better.

Landon is really good at dishing it out and Uncle Jer gave it right back.

The melt down!! I couldn't wait for this puddle in the back to dry up. Beck and Lacey were magnets for it and it was still cold outside. Didn't stop them from stomping through it.

What is it with kids and puddles/water!?

Oh the Joys!

It snowed and my kids were thrilled. I'm excited to live in Utah to experience all four seasons again. My kids love the cold more then the heat. They were out there frozen in all the wrong gear, but didn't care one little bit! They were out there trying to block the gutter and would have stayed longer id we didn't make them come in for dinner.  Landon would have been out there without a jacket if I would have let him. It doesn't matter what season it is, he thinks it's summer!! Lacey just looked at it and laughed, still not so sure about all the white stuff.

The training wheels are off! I've been trying to get Goose to ride his bike without training wheels for a few weeks now and he can do it he just doesn't trust himself. Well this afternoon he gave it a try without me forcing him too and took off. The last thing he asked before going to bed is if he could go ride Drewbies bike in the morning.

After Landon's practice the kids wanted to roll down the hill at Mueller Park. The had a riot,  giggled the whole way down the hill, and even did a second round. It was all cute till Goose cried the whole way home because his head hurt and Landon threw-up in my car-NOT COOL! Needless to say we will not be rolling down the hill again!

Out soaking up some superman sun, eating pears, and watching the boys ride bikes.

What is it about the gutter and water that my kids love. This one wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't in the middle of the street.

Freeze tag for FHE. We love being with the Terry's even if it is complete chaos. My kids are going to go through withdrawals when we are no longer in their business 24/7.

Moms and Muffins at Oak hills. I love these two even if Landon won't look at the camera to save his life!!

Saturdays, Soccer and Slurpees!

This little Monkey had his first soccer game. He thinks he is pretty awesome being able to play just like his big brother. He even scored a goal!!

After the game he told me "mom I had no whiner babies" It's so fun watching my babies grow and have fun doing it!

This little lady was a trooper for all the games even though it was right during nap time.

Landons soccer is a little "Tiny Tots" compared to the Valley. He still loves to play the game and really gets it! He also scored! The rest of the day he was giving play by play how he made his shot!

Leah is so good to be on the sideline supporting her brothers! We do have to keep ourselves entertained for parts of it...

After games we stopped by to get slurpees that we thought were free if you brought your own container, but it was a 1.50 for any container! Guess we better get the facts straight next time and bring bigger cups!!

The kids didn't care and definitely earned it!

Melissa got babysitters for all 9 kids and we got out on a date! We played later tag and it was super fun, but I SUCKED at it. I was in the negative. Oh well it was fun and I got to be away from the kiddos for a night which was much needed!

Forts, Bikes, Movies, Tooth Fairy, Yard work and a Walk!

The kids built a fort in the oak above Missy's house. It's kept them entertained and out of trouble!

These two are the best of friends and the worst of enemies. This was a fun game till they fought over who got to sit in the front.

Helping  Dad wash the car. I love her curiosity! She sat there trying to catch the water running off the car.

Family movie night with all 9 kids!

Leah lost TWO teeth! She had a shark tooth going on so it was time these babies came out! She wouldn't let me touch them, but for some reason was super brave when Aunt Shelly was the one doing all the pulling.

He's a goofball!

The love this Jeep even though it doesn't work! It's lead to a lot of pushing, bitting, and crying!

These two can play nice... Mostly because the food was on mutual ground!

Who knew tilling could be so entertaining!

Yard work with some white boys!! We pulled up into the driveway with all the boys in the back of the truck and saw Jeremy Terry out working shirtless in the yard and within second all the boys had their shirt off ready to work!

On a walk between sessions of conference.

Monday cleaning..and some neglected kiddos!

FHE minute two win it activity!
