Snow...Cold!

We spent a day in Logan with Grandpa and Nana Cindy. We took the kids sledding at a local park. I thought they would only last a minute or two, but after an hour we had to make them leave. We made some snow angels that Leah has asked over and over to do since it snowed. We also fed some ducks. The ducks obviously had not eaten in a while. They were swarming us before we even got out of the car. We had to hold the Lilos so the ducks wouldn't sit and pick at there little hands. Good times!!

A name and a Blessing...

We Blessed Logan Adam Nielsen on Sunday the 8th of January while we were in Utah. Jer gave a beautiful blessing and it was so nice to be surrounded be friends and family. My mom found the goose some little man clothes for his blessing and he looked adorable in them.

Isn't he cute

The whole family after the blessing.

Christmas in January.

Jer had a training in Utah, so we all joined him for the week. It was nice and snowed the day we got here so the kids got to experience the freezing snow that they have been asking for all winter. My mom spoiled the kids with late Christmas gifts and it was just nice for it to feel like winter for a minute.

Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam!

It's official I have 2 sunbeams. Heaven help the teacher:)

They were excited to go to primary today and be with all their friends, and the "big" kids. Jer and I snuck in the back to spy on them. They were a little hyper, but what do you expect with 7 three year olds sitting together in a new environment. I want to freeze them in time. I love to see them growing and learning, but the time really does fly by.

Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year! I don't think that I have ever been more excited for a new year. 2011 was a very hard and trying year. Jer and I have been very blessed in our lives and have had many "waves" that we have been able to ride. It seems like this year all those waves came crashing down on us. Being separated, homeless, with child, and moving to a new town took a toll on both Jer and I. I am grateful for my family that was by my side through it all. I am also grateful for Mr. Baby Logan that was probably the biggest blessing of 2011. We might have waited a little longer to have more kids had we known what our year was going to be like, but then we probably would have stuck with the two lilos. The Lord has a funny sense of humor sometimes he also know what I need in life I just have to have a little more faith in his timing. I'm just glad that it is all behind us and I'm ready for a wonderful 2012.

We didn't do much for New Years. We had our normal nightly routine and finished the day out with some poppers, rock band, and sparkling cider. The kids didn't stay up much past bedtime and Jer and I watched the live version of the ball drop on CNN so that we could still get to bed at a decent time. I guess that's what I newborn and getting old will do to you:) Maybe next year we will be a little more exciting. Happy New Year!!!!
