Maxine Conk.

My sweet Grandma passed away peacefully on February 16. It was a bitter sweet moment for all of us. We know she is in a better place, but it's hard having her gone. When my sibling and I got the news my older sister sent out a text with these pictures she took of my grandparents. She also wrote some of her memories of Grandma. All of us started to send texts of all the wonderful things we remember about this wonderful lady. Her are just a few highlights.
Hop, skip, jump, back tickles, fake nails, stale cookies in the cookie jar, finding the bird in the christmas tree, naming cars, perms, popsicles, gallon buckets of ice cream, mashed potatoes, setting by the heater vent, going through her jewelry, tea parties, cartwheels and back walkovers, strawberries and sugar, perfume on the back of the toilet, seashell art, lovingly referring to us as "little shits" carmel popcorn, ringlets with bobby pins, furry toilet seats, name spelling, shirley Temple movies, "what color is the lake", Wrigley's gum Eating watermelon in wheels, speed racing to the top of the stairs, home haircuts, dancing grannies, and thousands more. We love you a bushel and a peck hope your dancing your heart out.

This is the band she would go with every Friday and play the tambourine in.

It was a beautiful sunny day and a wonderful service.
