Happy 4th of July!

We headed to Huntsville for the 4th to spend the weekend with cousins. We planned our own 4th of July festivities for the kids...and adults.

This is where you could find the little most of the time. And most of the time it was right after you had got them in dry cloths. I got to the point that it was just easier to leave Lacey in here diaper then try to keep her out of the pool!

The little 4-wheelers were a hit. If Landon could have ridden them all day he would have. Anytime there was any downtime he would ask to ride.

Fireworks are a must over the 4th. It scares me to death to let the kids have any type, but it's hard to say no when they love them.

Surprisingly Lacey liked the sparklers.

We had rubberband helicopters that kept the kids entertained for a good hour! My kids faces trying to launch them cracks me up.

Leah would squat down and jump to they and get it higher.

Love hanging with Aunt Brecken.

Watermelon eating was the first of many games.

Yes we even made the adult do this game.

Bubble gum blowing was next.

The slip-n-slide was in use pretty much all the time.

Water kick-ball is always fun with the group.

Movies out on the tramp.

We skipped the festivities at liberty to watch the parade that comes right by our house. The kids came home with bags of candy.  Lacey is a big fan of the parade especially since there was horses in it.

Grandpa spoiled the kids with some cotton candy.

It's not Huntsville without the slurpee run!

Pie treasure hunt was another game we played. We had to find prizes in the whip cream.

Jer Terry is obviously a cheater.

The boys were good sports.

Even the little boys.

Even though I had no intentions of playing this game, my husband thought didn't want to leave me out.

Sometimes I'm not sure why we go to the trouble of games when they are as happy as can be kinking the hose on each other and playing in the sprinkler:)

The three little boys could have played not the tramp the entire time.

Lacey was not good to share the swing Jer made from the tree trimmings.

Kids care wash was a hit with everyone.

It was a great weekend and I am so grateful for this little family of mine and the freedom that we have.
