Christmas is coming the Goose is getting FAT!

I love this kid and all his rolls!!! He is smiling all the time and even giggling. He is a wonderful baby and I am grateful that everyday. He brings so much joy to our little family.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a quite Thanksgiving with just the 5 of us. We are grateful to be together as a family, but I did miss being with the rest of our families. Maybe next year:) Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I have been meaning to post this for a while.
Leah
Dramatic, loves to sing and dance, still hoarding anything and everything (lately it has been mini barbies), loves the color purple, love the way she says "what" from despicable me, loves to cuddle, is notorious for leaving little trinkets under my covers, loves to read books, loves apples and will eat the whole thing seeds and all if you let her, loves to color and does pretty good to stay in the lines, screams at the top of her lungs when she is upset, very independent, loves animals, if you looked up slow in the dictionary there would be a picture of Leah, she always says "oh honey" when someone gets hurt, has some crazy hair when she wakes up in the morning, can chew a bite forever, is always the winner even if she was last, love "licofish" which translated is licorice...

Landon
Loves to help with any project that you are doing, will negotiate "one last one" with almost everything, still loves anything that moves, cars, truck, tractors etc., loves the color orange, hates his hands dirty, loves to wear his "big shoes", likes to dress like his dad, asks his dad daily if he can go to work with him, could eat sweets all day if you let him, loves to repeat the phrases "Como" and "hijole", loves to tease Leah, only has one volume...loud!, is a talking head...meaning he never stops, when you tell him no he will tell you "but I say yes and you say yes", when you tell him to take two more bites without fail he dry heaves, when you ask his name he leaves Landon out and tells people Michael Nielsen, has no concept of what being "the winner" is...

The Training wheels are off!

Landon is riding a two-wheeler. Jer decided on Saturday to take Landon's training wheels off and by the end of the day he was riding without training wheels. We are still working on stoping, but my little boy is riding a big boy bike. He bugs his dad all day now "can I go ride my bike". I have to admit I cried when I saw him doing it all by himself. Leah tried and told her dad she was driving too crazy. WE'll keep her training wheels on a little bit longer.

The Park

We went to the park and the kids had a blast feeding the ducks..and the dumb pigeons.

Carnival

We went to a Carnival at the school behind our house. The kids had a blast and it was the best ten dollars that we spent all month! To bad they don't do it every weekend:)

Glamis

Last weekend we packed a lunch and went and played at the sand dunes that are only about 30 minutes from our house. You can imagine that Landon was in heaven in the massive sand box. This was the first trip but definitely not the last!

Happy Halloween!!!

This Halloween was a lot of fun. We asked the kids what they wanted to be this year and Leah wanted to be Ariel and Landon wanted to be a bad guy. WHen I asked him what a bad guy looks like he told me they fight and have a knife. The kid hates to have a costume on, but when we found the pirate sword and a pirate costume that looked like his dads, he had no problem dressing up. So, Saturday night we went to the ward Trunk-or-treat. They had chili and corn bread, booths with games for the kids, and a DJ with dancing. Monday we had one of the Lilos little friends come and trick-or-treat with us. Halloween is a big deal here and we probably had over 100 little, and big, trick-or-treaters come by our house. Landon was all about filling his pumpkin to the top. Leah was fine with some candy as long as she had a sucker. I'm sad that it's over and look forward to next year.
