New Years Eve 2023

We finally got to do the Puzzle Jer wasn't able to do in Huntsville and he got to wear his robe. Nothing too excited for us. Leah went the Gateway with Izabel. Logan and Lacey went over to the Pearsons for an ice-cream bar, games and a movie till the ball dropped. Landon, Jer and I hung out and watched movies till  midnight (I didn't make it) woke up to kiss my hubby and back to bed I went while Jer did poppers out front and then rounded up the rest of the kids! Party animals! 

 

Huntsville 2023

We spent a few days in Huntsville while Brecken was in town. I didn't get one picture of me and my sisters! The kids spent hours out on the tubes. It's a win/win the big boys like to drive and kids like to ride. We didn't see them most of the time, they even rode at night and over on the 5 acres. If they weren't out on the tubes and 4-wheelers they were in doing puzzles and playing games. The adults stayed up way too late every night playing games together one of the other reason we like to be in Huntsville together! 

 

Laceys 10 birthday!

Lacey is always more excited for her birthday than Christmas. She always has the full day planned and is happy to share with her Grandpa. We started with a cold morning getting the annual donuts at Krispy cream. We went shopping at station park and got some birthday clothes. We had nails appointments in the afternoon cause that all she asked for! We finished the night going to the movie migration with the whole Stuart family. It was a perfect day for my perfect girl! 

 

Lacey is 10!

This girl is the big 1-0! Loves to hang out with friends and asks for playdates everyday, loves to dance, has her back handspring and almost her back layout, is very independent, loves math and is learning to like reading, loves to help in the kitchen, loves her nails done, has more sass than all the other kids combined, is a ham and loves to be the center of attention, talks back to the TV, can't wait to get braces, can't hold still to save her life, is a bit of a hoarder, loves thrifting and will spend hours at the DI with her dad, favorite color  is yellow, favorite treat is skittles, favorite food is orange chicken, loves entertaining babies at church, and is a wonderful caboose to our family! 

 

Christams 2023!

Christmas! What a magical day. Jer always puts up with my crazy ideas of how to make the morning fun! This year it was wrapping them out of the living room and making them find their last gift!  We had brunch at my mom's where she spoiled the kids even more. We finished the day relaxing as a family and enjoying the gifts that were given. Merry Merry Christmas! 

 

Christmas Eve.

I really enjoyed Christmas Eve falling on a Sunday this year. I didn't get a picture of all of us in our Sunday best, but that is one of my new year's resolutions to be better about documenting things. I've become a little lax in my documenting. We watched Christmas movies and FINALLY let Lacey open our December 24th gift. We got out on a walk since the weather was so warm and to get some of the wiggles out. We played a fun game of no hand, forward movement only, skipping tag. We finished the night watching "white Christmas" in our matching Pajamas and had some butter beer! I Love the simplicity of the day and the chance to remember the true meaning of the season. I'm so grateful for my Savior. I have felt his hand more in my life this last year than ever before in my life. I know he knows me and love me and wants the best for me. I know that he listens to my prayer and that he guides and directs me when I take the time to listen. I'm so grateful for his birth and the chance that we ge to celebrate him!
