4th of July!

We had to split the morning. Lacey was in the West Bountiful parade and it's the first year we were in town for her to participate. So Jer and I took her to her parade and the other 3 kids stayed with cousins for the Huntsville Parade.  The morning was a bit warm, but then a huge storm rolled in and almost made it so we couldn't get our game of kick-ball in. We all played in sweatshirts and froze running the bases since it was still water kickball, but made for some fun memories. After kickball we did grandpa's annual trip to Maverick for a much needed Diet Coke. The evening was spent doing the skits while waiting for it to be dark enough to set off fireworks. Jer, Landon, Leah and I had to leave before fireworks to be the crown home since we had Trek starting in the morning. We were sad to have to call it early, but Leah was excited to be able to watch fireworks with friends.
