Fall Break

Went to a movie for the second time since Covid hit.Not big movie goers but it was nice to get out and fun to see Croods 2!  We were the only ones in the theater! We also spent some time with the Dunn's while we were in Huntsville for thanksgiving. Nice little break from family. 

Found an arrow in Huntsville which lead to the kids spending the rest of the weekend shooting targets.How do you kill a squirrel? Well as you can see by Logan's anatomical diagram, you just aim for the hear, lungs, or stomach! Too fun. Glad to see them outside playing survival. 

 

Ninjas! Who let the dogs out and dog walking.

Jer had the kids watch one of the Ninja films that he grew up with. The Five Elements Ninjas! It was pretty bad, but the kids loved all the Ninja moves. When it was over there was some good reenactment of scenes going on in the front room-exactly like Jer did as a kid!

These two are hams and started singing "who let the dogs out" and of course Landon had to get in on the action!! Not camera shy at all! 

Getting out on plenty of walks with all the dog sitting we've been doing lately! 

 

Fall Sports.

That's a wrap for fall sports! I was so grateful that the kids were able to have a season with everything that is going on! Luckily the weather stayed good for most of the games, since the season went into November!! 

 

Temple Grounds

Went to Temple Square to see how construction is going on the Salt Lake Temple. It was neat to see the foundation and all the improvements they are making! 

 

Thanksgiving 2020!

We had a great time in Huntsville for Thanksgiving with Family. We had our annual football game! We played games and crafted! I think the most fun we had was playing the animal game! With my family things always get pretty intense, but so much fun! 

 

Girlfriends, snow, HS, puzzles and bike rides.

Got together with some of my girlfriends and it was so nice to catch up. I truly hope my kids find friends like Jer and I have! Snow fell and we are loving playing in it! Too bad it gets dark at 5, cause it gets cold when that sun goes down! Lots of family time with new mask mandates! The kids started playing a game called HS, short for hall soccer. Pretty fun and we played as a family! Dad and mom in the mix make for a lot of legs and obstacles :) Puzzles with the cold weather! Trying to get as much biking before its tooo cold. Jer just upgraded his bike to a Tarmac. Can't beat good finds on KSL! It was a nice ride except the head wind when we turned around! 

“HS” (hall soccer)...it’s a thing! Just a tiny squishy ball and a hard floor is all you need. Nothing brings me more joy than the giggles that come from playing games “nicely” together as a family

Puzzles are always fun!
