Halloween this year was a little bit different. We had our annual halloween dinner that Leah planned out and executed so well. She made a power point with all the things that she wanted to make and then made me a shopping list for all the supplies she needed. We let the kids trick or treat to a few houses and then headed to the movie theater. Jen and Tom rented the whole theater so we had the place to ourselves and watched Goosebumps. I think Lacey was the only one really disappointed that she didn't get to trick or treat more.

Trunk or Treat and Carving Pumpkins.
Jer's work still put on a trunk or treat! Jer was in charge of his trailer and decided to be the faceless Woody to scare the kids. HIs office always does a really good job. We painted pumpkins got loads of candy from the trailers and eded with donuts and hot chocolate. So grateful that we are still able to celebrate and do things to feel like life his still a little bit normal. We carved pumpkins that night. The kids wanted to paint theirs this year which made me a little sad, only because I like to have them all lit up in the porch. Lacey wanted a disco ball so dad pulled out the power tools to get the right look. Not sure why we haven't used the power tools in years past- it made things sooo much easier!

Halloween Class Parties.
The kids all got to do a class party this year. I was pretty excited that they were allowing it because of everything else that is going on and being canceled this year! Leah was the class president for October and was in charge of her party. She did such a good job and the kids had a great time!

Service, Crazy hair day and snow.
The kids helped Brother Peck clean up some leaves in his yard and he rewarded them with a Slurpee. Crazy hair day for school, all the kids had very specific idea that they wanted done except Leah... she didn't want to participate this year. We had snow on Sunday, yes it's still October. The kids had fun playing in it all afternoon after church!

Halloween Party 2020!
Annual Stuart Family Halloween Party. My mom always plans way too much, but the kids had a blast and enjoyed every minute of it! I think the game the kids enjoyed the most this year was the eating contest. Each round had something different you had to eat, from a Twinkie to a pickle. My mom wanted the adults to join but it was more entertaining watching the kids try to out eat each other! We had a Toy Story theme going this year and it was so much fun to see it all come together at the party. Until next year!
