Spudman 2019.

We dropped the kids off in Logan so we could head to Burley for the Spudman Triathlon. It is always a fun race. Jer and I laughed that this is what we do together when we get a babysitter for overnight. The kids always have a ball at Grandpa and Nanda Cindy's. Our main goal was to get rid of some of the Googles that Jer bought(500+pairs) We hit our goal of 100 and that alone was a success in itself. Race morning was early and for the first time Jer and I were in the same heat. I can always beat him on the swim i finished in 20 minutes and Jer was slightly behind me at 23. My goal was not to let him pass me on the bike, and I did jus that. I felt amazing on the bike and finishes  the 24 miles in 1:12 and Jer finished in 1:13. I knew he'd have no problem catching me on the run. Although it the disciple that I put the most work into, it's the one that I struggle with the most. Jer finally caught me at mile 3.  I took 1:10 for the run, Jer finished in 48 Minutes. Jer time 2:43:18  My time 2:49:27 Another Race complete! 

Rodeo for the 24th.

We decided last minute to head to the Rodeo with cousins for the 24th of July. It was actually a lot of fun although we were a bit scattered because we bought tickets so last minute! They had a jumbo-tron moment that you had to lift your kids up like the lion king. Jer being the best dad in the world did his best to get Goose on the big screen. 

Spartan!

Jer and I completed our first Spartan! It will not be our last. It was so much fun and I think that next year we will of for a Trifecta. Jer did amazing and completed all the obstacles! I on the other hand can't do monkey bars to save my life. So I did a few burpees....Jer was nice enough to do some of mine for me. It was tuff and pushed us physically, but it was so much fun and I loved being able to do it with Jer by my side. 

Huntsville!

We went to Huntsville to hang out before the Spartan since it was up Trappers loop at snow basin. Missy was nice enough to be up there with us to watch our kids while we ran the race. We went and played at the lake Friday while the men were at work. The older kids played mountain cricket the entire time and the littles road bikes. One of the many reason we love Huntsville. 

Cousins!

Cousins were in town for the wedding so we always party hard while they are here. 

Adams Canyon.

We hiked Adam canyon this weekend. It's about 2 mile up some steep terrain, but the kids were troopers and all made it will little complaining. Beautiful waterfall at the top and some cold refreshing water.
