The Anderson's invited us to tag along with their adventure to Antietam and Harper's Ferry. Two places we probably would not have picked on our own, but so glad that we joined them. Antietam was one of the bloodiest battles of the civil war and over 23000 men lost their lives. Our kids didn't really appreciate that aspect, but they did love reenacting the battle and catching butterflies!
