Frontrunner Train.

With summer rapidly coming to a close we decided on Saturday to ride the frontrunner train from Wood Cross to City Creek with the kids. It's something that we had on our bucket list and it seemed like a perfect day to check it off. The kids were pretty excited to finally be able to ride the train since we get stopped by it quite often coming up the hill from our house.

Lacey loved not having to be buckled and was free to move from seat to seat.

Luckily it wasn't crowded at all and we had the whole upper deck to ourselves, which means all the kids got a window seat.

We stopped at City creek for lunch at Chick-fil-A and then walked the mall. The kids highlight was feeding the trout some nuggets. I'm surprised Jer shared any of them, you know him and his chick-fil-a! The fish swarmed the second they stared feeding them. Leah put her hand a little close and got bit. I just surprised none of them fell it.

We headed over to the temple grounds before headed back to the train station. It was a beautiful day and the temple grounds were in full bloom.

We didn't want to go straight home so we rode the train back to farmington station to get some ice cream and to be able to ride the train a little longer.

It was a fun day and something we will definitely do again!
