Memorial Day 2012
We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. Lucky for us the temperature dropped into the high 80's low 90's for the long weekend. A welcome break from the 110 that we were all last week. We enjoyed the beautiful weather playing outside! Monday we went to some friends house to swim. The Lilos love the water and I think that Logan will be a little fish as well. It was a very nice and relaxing weekend.
Jer showing the kiddos how a cannonball is done!!
Landon going off the rock!

Swimming underwater from the deep end.
Dad and the goose
He loved splashing
We need to take him to the beach. The kid loved the boogie board!

Sunbeam Lake
We took the kiddos to Sunbeam lake last weekend. I don't know that you should call it a like. It's more of a pond. THe park there is huge and has awesome slides, swings and even a merry-go-round. Even dad got in on the action. All Landon and Leah wanted to do was fish. They kept asking if we could just borrow peoples fishing poles. I think we know what we need to have Grandpa Nielsen do with them when we visit Utah:)
8 Months
Goose-a-rellie is 8 months old! He is almost crawling, has all 4 of his top teeth now(that has been a fun month), loves to sit and hit his tray till all the food bounces off, is entertained for hours when given a box of toys, does an adorable side head tilt when you talk to him, does not sleep through the night yet!!!

Happy Mother's Day 2012
Mother's Day was a very nice relaxing day! I wish I could say I got to sleep in and got breakfast in bed, but with a nursing baby that didn't happen. Jer did make me breakfast and the Lilos made me a card with all the things they loved about mom. I also got some new, and much needed, sports bras!!! After church we were outside playing and what started out as watering the new grass we planted turned into a water fight. It was so much fun! Jer and I have had many water fights in our day, but it was ten times more fun with the kiddos! I hope that all you mothers out there had a enjoyable mother's day!!!

Splish Splash!
We pulled out the little pool and the goose loved it! The lilos treated it like a bath, but it killed a good two hours today so I won't complain.
Enjoying some ice cream sandwiches after-yummy!
One on One time.
Jer had a father and sons campout this last weekend. It was some one on one time the lilos needed with Jer and I since Mr. baby Logan was born. Jer and I love camping and Landon shares our love. He loved having freedom, playing with the boys, throwing sticks and rocks, finding bugs, roasting his own hot dog and marshmallows, and sleeping in a tent. One of the other boys brought some guns, which Landon is obsessed with lately, and Jer found some glow stick guns for when it got dark. The kid was in heaven. He came home asking if we could go camping the next night.
Leah and I had a very quiet, peaceful, tease free evening. I let Leah take a bubble bath all to herself. After we painted each others nails and watched a movie in moms bed. I also let her sleep in my bed with me. That is something that I loved doing when my dad was out of town. It was so nice to have a little girl time with the bug.

Pet Lizard for a Day.
We caught a lizard in our backyard and the kids inherited it as a pet for the day. They gave it wagon rides, took turns holding it, and even let it go down the slide. I think the poor thing was so dizzy, stunned, and tired from the Lilos playing with it that it never tried to run. If it did it never made it very far. Landon loved holding it, even after it bit him. Every time he picked it up he'd say "gotcha". Leah was a little more timid and would gently grab it when it came down the slide. We showed the goose but he didn't really care for the thing, he just enjoyed watching the lilos run around. We did let it go later that night and no Lizards were harmed during playtime:)
