Santa came to Story time!

Santa made an appearance at story time on Wednesday. I wish I had been filming when Landon and Leah got to the front of the line, they literally ran and jumped into his lap. Super excited to see Santa
So, was the Goose:)

Love this park!

We have made this park a weekly occurrence lately. It's covered, has all sorts of stuff for the kids so they're never board, and it's clean!

WIPE OUT.

We were watching Wipe out the other night on TV. Jer, being the awesome dad that he is, set a corse up for the kids. There was a round of swinging pillows, and a round of exploding pillows. Then the kids started to make up all sorts of things that dad was suppose to do with his arms and pillows. As you can tell by the pictures the kids had a BLAST!

Work Party/Light Parade

I hate when things overlap. There is not much to do in the valley so when big events are planned on the same day, and about the same time it makes me a little grumpy. That was the case this Friday. Jer office planned their annual work party, but the Light Parade was the same night. Jer wasn't feeling well, but was a trooper and we made both work. We started at the work party. Landon and Leah decorated cookies. I think there is a cookie under all that frosting:)
Logan enjoyed the cars.
The Lilos mauled the cats.
And the pool table was a hit till fingers got smashed.
We ducked out of the party early to hit the light parade. It's just a bunch of cars covered with light, but the kids love it.
We keep trying to convince Grandpa Nielsen to enter his razor into the parade:) Next year maybe.

Christmas count down.

This year I made an advent calendar to count down till Christmas. When it comes to being crafty my twin got all the genes, so I am thrilled when I make something and it turns out. We started the 1st of December and everyday we pull off a number and there is a daily activity. The lilos have enjoyed the daily routine and remind me all day what we are supposed to be doing. So here is some of what we have been up to over the last 12 days.
Hot Chocolate and Marshmallows.
Glow stick tub party.
We made paper snow flakes.
Goose wasn't interested int he paper, just the measuring cups:)
we made some GAK.
Made Glitter Christmas trees at storytime.
Again, Logan didn't care about the paper he was happy with the sucker.
We made some Christmas ornaments.
Our elves have been a little naughty decorating our tree with paper, pulling everything out of the kids drawers to find PJ's, hiding in the M&M's jars, getting stuck upside down in the lamp, but they have keep the kids fully entertained and on their best behavior.
They even had a marshmallow fight that Rellie was more then happy to clean up.
He even colored on the kids faces.
12 more days till Christmas!

Future Fire Fighters.

One of our good friends is a Fireman here in the valley and invited us over for a visit. The kids had a riot and the firemen were so nice to let them touch and explore EVERYTHING. They got to ride in the fire truck.
Test the pole out.
Even Jer had to try it out.
Pretty Cute if you ask me.
The highlight of the night was the creepers, which they used as scooters. I think I need to rethink their Christmas gifts.
