First week of School!

Leah made French toast for everyone for the first day of school. She might have set off the smoke alarm, but it was super sweet that she was worried about everyone else. We found a painted rock on the way home and there was a thunder storm that night. Lacey was terrified. We talked it out and tried to help her work through her fears right now. We're making baby steps and talking out why and worst case scenarios to help her work through. Missy and I got with the girls for some pickle ball while the kids were in school. 20 kids between the 4 of us! We had a great first week of school and are taking advantage of school every other day. We went swimming and then headed boating with the Terry's. All my kid were excited to try their new knee board. 

 

First Day of School!

First day of school and the kids were so excited! It might be only 2 days a week but we'll take what we can get right now! Hopefully we stay open longer then a month and don't get shut down again! 

 

Back-to-School Night!

Weird with all the social distancing and masks, but the kids were beyond excited to start school and meet their teachers. 

 

Sunday Shenanigans!

Jer and I were dead from the hike. I had a had a horrible headache from the lack of sleep and Jer could walk cause his calf were so tight. The kids kept themselves entertained with a full hour nerf war! We did squeeze in church and Fathers blessing for back to school! 

 

Mt. Timpanogos

Derek roped us all into his annual hike to the top of Mt. Timpanogos. We started at 2 in the morning and I think that was the worst part. Probably good we did the steep side in the dark with my fear of heights. It was fun to hike it with family. We did have a couple of injuries, Ryan split open his arm taking toilet paper back for my dad and my dad rolled both his ankles! Not sure if I'd do it again next year....
