Kangaroo Zoo.

The kids had Monday off of school so I finally got around to taking them to Kangaroo Zoo for Logan's birthday! We stayed for 3 1/2 hours! Got our moneys worth and I can check it off my list for a year or two:)

It was a beautiful weekend so we tried to spend most of the time outside at the park enjoying family-time. It seems like our schedule has been a little crazy lately so we love it when we have nothing on the agenda.

Huntsville

UEA weekend was spent in Huntsville. Shooting motorcycle riding, and just good times! 

He was still hitting the target, not really sure how?!

We were pet sitting so the kids were entertained with the dog.

Halloween Parties!

Grandparents know how to Party. We headed to Logan for Nanda Cindy's Pumpkin fest 2018. We were pretty late but enjoyed lots of crafts, pumpkin decorating, lots of yummy food, and cousin time. It was a good chance to see how costumes were going to be for Halloween night. 

Grandma Desi also had a halloween party. We won for the family costumes...only cause we were the only family that everyone dressed up. Jer and I made a good Fix-it-Felix and Sargent Calhoun from the movie "Wreck it Ralph" Lacey changed from the pirate to a snow leopard, Leah was a fox, Landon was the grim reaper, and Logan was Dash.  We ate, decorated bags, and had a nerf gun war. 

Jers work party! The kids love going to Dads work and trick-or-treating from office to office.  

Leah's 10!

Leah Sofia Nielsen how much I love you and how much you can make me want to pull my hair out. She is super friendly and loves to have play-dates, excels and school in english and language arts, loves to read, loves make-up and getting her nails painted and all things girls, is a bit of a sass, pretty stubborn and a bit of a pre-teen, isn't afraid of trying new things, determined to get things right and tries until she succeeds, favorite food is pizza, favorite color is teal, is the all time worst at leaving her socks out, is a little bit of a hoarder, loves to sing her songs as she practices the piano, still loves animals and has her own little pet sitting business, can be the sweetest big sister when she wants to be, loves her sleep like her mamma, loves to cook and be in the kitchen with me, we love you Miss Leah and are so proud of the beautiful young women you are becoming! 

Landon's 10!

Land-o-lakes, this kids is going to go far in life, hopefully it's in the right direction, is the first to get all his to-do list done in hopes to earn screen time, is obsessed with anything electronic, is determined and bull headed, usually only hears what he wants to, excels at school especially in math, is super competitive, loves to read, loves hanging out with friends, is a very clean child, favorite food is pizza, favorite color is black, is a great little piano player, has a knack with little kids and they seem to love him, has a great memory, and is a great kid! We love you Landon!
