37!!

It was a great birthday! Jer and I keep saying we feel like we are in our 20, but were in our late 30's(WHAT!) Jer took me out on the night before my birthday. I made him come to my High class and then we ate at the cheesecake factory, super yummy. We spent the night at a hotel in draper and attended the South Jourdan temple in the morning of my birthday. I love any chance I get to go to the temple with my hubby! Later that day we went on a ride with Melissa and Jer up immigration canyon and ate at Ruth's for lunch. We spend the rest of the night with the kids watching movies and eating ice cream at the Terry's! Great start to being 37!! 

Logan 7!

Oh how we love this kid! He is the sweetest and always looks out for his little sister, he is great with babies, he is a friend to everyone, still a bit of a klutz, loosing teeth like they are going out of style, likes his hair long, but doesn't like to do it, is the worst at eating dinner unless it's pizza or quesadillas, it always picking up random junk/things on the floor and is content to play with them for days, has the best imagination, loves to invent and make things, loves learning and is a bright boy, loves school especially leaning french, loves to sleep in his little cocoon of blankets and stuffed animals on his bed,  favorite color is gold, favorite food, zucchini muffins, favorite thing to do is have play-dates, loves to do his exercises with his mom and dad and especially when we are watching beast master or fittest on earth, loves soccer and is pretty good little player, is awful at leaving his socks everywhere, and is simply a joy to parent. We love you Goose-a-rellie!

Logans' 7th Birthday!

This kid is the greatest! Canny took him shopping and he came home with the goat head!! Loves it and wears it all the time. We loved celebrating the G-man! We took lunch to him at school and then got to take donuts in the share with his class. He requested ho dog in the fire pit and s'mores for dessert. Happy Birthday Goose-a-rellie! 

Shows and Field trips.

Logan and Lacey did a magic show for us. I was able to attend the IMAX field trip with Landon and Leah. It's fun to see them with their friends...not so fun to ride the stinking school bus! 

Lacey had her first field trip to the the Library. 

School Carnival.

School carnival is always a blast. The kids could play on bounce houses all day! SO happy the Terry's joined us!! 

Final days of Summer.

School is started and the weather is starting to turn cooler-heavenly. We are still trying to enjoy being outside as much as possible before it too cold. We started watching Beast master again and my kids started acting out obstacles on the play-set. 

Ran the Big Cottonwood half marathon. Not my sub 2 that I wanted, but I finished! 

Weekend forts...and i let them sleep in it. That's a big deal for me, I'm all about being in our own beds for a good night sleep!! 

Skull Crack Trail.

Went hiking up Skull Crack Trail to see the fish spawning. It was 2.5 miles in and the kids were champs. The leaves are starting to change and it was beautiful. Super neat to see hundreds of fish in the river. 

Labor Day Triathlon.

I'm so proud of the kids of mine. They wanted to do the Labor day triathlon since moving back to Utah. They got their butts out of bed early morning to run and bike. Leah was the most dedicated to her training and since she couldn't go alone she had to drag the boys with her. They all did GREAT. Logan and Landon took second place in their age groups. Landon has my competitive spirit for sure! Love that they aren't afraid of hard things!!
