Weekend Projects.

Jer made a cement pad for a shed he bought. The kids were pretty good helpers especially when we were mixing the cement. This all lead to needing water, which meant swimsuits, which turned into the hose down the slide. They have been begging to pull out the slip-n-slide and this is close enough for now, it's still only in the 50's. Sunday we made some butter with heavy cream. The kids needed to shake it so we tuned it into a relay. Dad turned it into Mario and we were throwing turtle shells at them. It was quit satisfying and the kids thought it was the best game ever! We ended the night with s'mores. It was a great productive weekend.

Quarantine week 5!

School zoom calls all seem to happen at the same time and we only have so many devices, it's a bit crazy at times. Logan seems to have the most work and between him and Lacey I have my hands full keeping them on task. Logan loves to type his work on the computer, but it takes twice as long when he does. My patience is being testing in ways I didn't know possible. We try to get out of the house on a walk or scooter ride once a day when the weather permits. We are also in the kitchen a lot more. The kids are loving helping and picking the dinners to prepare. Leah is also loving baking a lot more! Lots of time in the kitchen and I am loving it! Skills my kiddos will need when they grow up! The kids also found Mario on the Wii and are obsessed, they are working as a team to beat all the levels.

Easter 2020!

Easter bunny found us and sent us on a little scavenger hunt. The kids had a blast running all over the house to find their baskets. After we opened the baskets they collect eggs that the Easter bunny had generously distributed all over the house and yard. We have more candy then healthy and the kids did a candy exchange. We took the afternoon to remember  and celebrate the true meaning of Easter. We got dressed and had our own little sacrament which was really special. I love that we are able to take the sacrament at home and Landon still get to pass to us. I'm so grateful for my Savior and for his atoning sacrifice. We finished the evening with a tea party in the bed of the truck!

Easter Weekend.

Catching up on all our Easter crafts this weekend. Sting eggs and dying eggs. Jer hates crafts and usually disappears when we start, but he was nice enough to help me with the string egg project.
