This is the Place Heritage park.

We spent the day at this is the place heritage park in Salt Lake. It's where the pioneers first settled when they arrived int the Valley. We got to ride ponies, dig for gold, mine for gem stones, hold baby chicks, ride the train, Jer got a clean shave...with a dull razor, make an arrow head necklace and stamp leather. It was super informative and so much to do, we had a wonderful and can't wait to go back! 

Cross E Ranch Field trip.

Had so much fun with friends and cousins at Cross-e-ranch. Lacey loved the little goats, when she squated down to pet one another one climbing onto her back.

Spring Break Day 3 and 4!

We spent the rest of Spring break with Grandpa and Nanda Cindy. It was baby animal days at Heritage Park so we enjoyed holding all kinds of baby animals. We got to ride horses, milk cows, got for  hayride, and enjoying spending time with grandparents.  

Jer and Logan took the metal detectors out when we got home. 

Spring Break day 2!

We made the trek to Dinosaur National Park in Jensen Utah. It's a mass dinosaur grave with hundreds of bones. They removed over 400 full dinosaur skeletons. The kids got to touch real bones and see the process of removing each of the individual bones. We then took a hike to see other fossils and remains in the area.   

Spring Break Day 1!

We took a little getaway to Park City and swam in the Crater, a natural hot spring,  at the homestead.  We climbed to the top to look down in before we got to go swimming. The kids thought it was great the only thing they were upset about is that they had to wear their life-jackets. 

We played games back at the hotel and went swimming in the pool-one of my kids favorite things to do!
