Memory Monday.

She's such a ham.

He hasn't take the ears off since I got them for him. He also wants to be called "Chester" 

Landon has been struggling a bit. I took him to the Dr. to prove to him that he didn't have strep and that he could quit telling me he was sick and needed to stay home from school. It was actually  a really pleasant afternoon with the little man! We went to lunch and had some one on one time...and then I took him back to school!! 

Taking advantage of the nice nights before it gets too hot and the misquotes are out! 

Landon is taking right after his dad!! I am so grateful for Jer example! Everyone needs a Jer!!

Jer made the kids draw the picture of Lehi's dream instead of reading it. It was the best they have been for scripture study in a LONG time!!  

Movie Morning! Good thing we have a king. 

I helped out in Logan's class for his Easter party. He was so cute with his little sister being there with him. He is loving school and soaking up all that he is learning and seeks to learn more! 

Friends!

Jer and I were able to get out on a date and meet up with some of our good friends from the Vista. It's funny that we are all on the other side of the country now. I'm so grateful for the friendships that I have made living other places. We had yummy food and sat and talked about the good old days of the Vista and the plans for the future!! 

Egg hunts and more Egg hunts!!

Our clubhouse had a Easter hunt and games. IT was hilarious to watch the kids do donuts on a string. The only one that was not a cheater was Goose. He worked on it for a while, till he ate the string and then he was done!!

April Conference.

Leah had put together eggs for activity days, so i duplicated it for the rest of the kids. They have never been so excited for conference. 

The reality of watching conference. I  have to say it was the first year that I was able to sit down and take note and really enjoy listening to the speakers. 

Conference didn't start till noon so we went on a walk before the first Sunday session. 4 for 4 kids ended up crying for different reasons, but we didn't make it far before Jer and I were done! 

Between sessions we went to the Carsons for Linner. They have a cub course in their back yard that this kids did over and over. They also thought it was great that they got to hang out with friends on a Sunday. 

Lacey wasn't feeling well so she feel asleep for the last session. I love when I get to cuddle her for a minute!! 

Ferry Farms and Sunken Road battle field.

Ferry Farms is George Washington's boyhood home. The home is being built right now and won't be finished till 2018 so we probably won't be able to see it, but it was fun to explore the grounds and we did get to see the outside. 

That is the house in the background. It faces the Rapahanock river. And yes we are all making sad faces because that was the only face that Lacey was giving at the time.

This is the kind of adventure that the kids love. 

Maryes Height or Sunken road battle of Fredricksberg. The kids finally were able to explore a site that actually had a battle on it!

Didn't get up to see the Cherry blossoms, but this will do for this year.
