Grandpa and Nada Cindy.

We spent a couple of days up in Logan with Grandpa and Nada Cindy(No that's not a typo that's how my kids say Nana). It was very relaxing and the weather was beautiful!

We tried out the power wheels again. Landon is a pretty good driver, they both had issues with depth perception and turning radius. Needless to say they both could use some more practice:)

Dad Testing out the big wheel down the driveway.

They started to get the hang of the wide turns.

We made Logan ride with Landon for a bit, he wasn't a huge fan of the power wheels.

Yep, she high centered it on the only rock in Grandpa's yard, Talent! Luckily we have a LONG time before she gets her license (If she gets one:)

Logan and I had the same reaction!

We loved jumping on the tramp with the sprinkler and balls.

The Lilos would run under and belly block the spout.

It was super cold water.

Of couse all the kids had to get in on the action.

There are three parks around there house. It was awesome!!

Chillin' with Grandpa.

We headed over to Logan river to feed the Ducks.

My kids could sit and do this for hours.

The ducks were obviously hungry.

Only fitting that the Goose partake of some of the goods.

Grandpa and Nana Cindy.

Some cute kids.

We had so much fun feeding ducks we went back the next day. Only this time we found a goat.

We also brought our fishing pools. Grandpa even made a special run for Hamburger.

And it worked!!

The kids all caught a fish.

The Goose is thrilled can't you tell.

Feeding the ducks, some more!!

Logan started throwing it under the fence.

Summer

Our summer so far.

Lots of time with friends out in the pool.

She's cute, but not a big fan of the water fight.

The splash pad.

Lots of coloring in the afternoon so we don't die of heat.

Car balloon races.

Testing the durability of the Alexanders Swing set.

I think there were 7 of them at one time.

We caught a lizard and when we let it go it jumped on Logan's shorts. He didn't like it.

Lots of swimming and holding the kitty and the Rolfe's.

This kid is obsessed with bubbles. He loves them!!

More swimming.

Popsicles!

LOTS of popsicles!

4th of July 2013

There is not a lot to do here in the valley for the 4th of July, but we make the best of it. We got up early for the Zinn's annual forth of July Breakfast, bike parade, and swimming. This kids love to decorate their bikes and be in a parade. Leah all dressed up in her red, white, and blue.

The start of the parade.

Leah walked the parade. This is Jer trying to convince her to ride the bike instead of walk.

Landon loving every minute of riding in the parade. After he told us he won the parade, we will have to work on his concept of what a parade is:)

Goose wanted nothing to do with it, and found a nice shady spot.

The kiddos love swimming and are getting very brave in the water. Even doing tricks now off the diving board.

Working in the pencil dive.

Goose was fine jumping from the side.

Yah...we need to work on the dive.

Before they hurt themselves:)

Jer told Landon to jump in backwards. He then full on did a back dive-several times. He's got some guts this kid!!

It almost looks fake!

This is what Jer meant by jump in backwards.

Crazy!!!

Goose loved the spray feature.

We finished the day with a and fireworks on the TV.
Happy 4th!

Leah got her ears pierced.

Leah was interested in getting her ears pierced a while back, but when it came down to it she chickened out. We had no issues with her getting them pierced and told her when she is ready she can have it done. Last week one of her little friends came to church with her ears pierced and Leah told us she was ready. So, Saturday we took her to the mall to get her ears pierced!

This is her holding the Clair bear. She was super excited. She had the choice to do it when we got there but they would have to do it one at a time, or we could come back in an hour and they could to both ears at the same time.  She chose to do it one at a time and said she would be brave and not cry.

Right before they did the first one. The girl was super cute with her.

She was so brave and didn't cry, but this picture says it all!! I'm sure she wishes she would have waited the hour:)

She chose "hello kitty" earrings, or "kitty hello" as Leah would say it.

The boys kept themselves busy trying on glasses.

Family History

Jer has been doing some family history work lately and absolutely loving it. he put together grandpa Nielsen's family history for father's day. I wanted to share these projects, but they are too big to email so  we've just embedded them into the blog. Feel free to download from our blog for your own family history files and records.

Summer School!!

Landon and Leah started summer school! They were super excited and so was I:) I feel like they have been ready for school for a while and this is the perfect transition for the fall.

Leah had new friends right away. She was asking to set up play dates after the first day.

Landon was concerned when they would get to use the computers. He was also excited for the playground outside and getting to bring a sack lunch.
