Grandma Desi!!

Our first visitor!! My cute mom came to stay with us this last weekend. It was so fun having her and her time her went WAY too fast!!! The kids soaked up every minute they could with her. It was so nice having her all to ourselves and the kids loved the undivided attention. We did lots of coloring, swinging, games and more games, hide and seek, and just some good old fashioned cuddling. We can't wait for her to come again. 

Grandma got the boys matching outfits. I think they are pretty handsome in blue.

We took grandma to ride the carousal at the mall.

We took grandma to the Fair. Leah was all about the rides this year. Landon was having a rough day. He started to come around towards the end. Logan was so grumpy that he couldn't ride any of the rides, he really just wants to be big!

Logan was finally happy when we headed over the the animals. Grandma also hooked him up with a sprinkle carmel apple. 

Grandma could have spent the whole time at the fair with the animals too. The goat grandma is holding is only hours old. She might just talk my dad into getting a goat:) 

Grandma sent the kids on a scavenger hunt to find some treasure. 

My mom wanted a picture in front of the house. The goose was thrilled about it. 

We spent the last day with Grandma at the Zoo. 

The kiddos loved having grandma here!

My mom bought the kids a prize from the zoo. She let them pick anything. Landon wanted a squirrel and Leah chose a Meerkat. My mom tried so hard to get them to pick something else, a lion, tiger, kangaroo, even a bigger toy, but they were set on the squirrel and meerkat. 

We loved having her here and can't wait for her to come again!!!!!

Desert Palm Triathlon

The week end I participated in the Desert Palm Triathlon. The Corse was beautiful and very scenic. The best part was I was able to go with just Jer. My mom was in town and watched the kids so Jer and I could get away for the weekend. I love the support that I get from my hubby to do these events. He loved being able to watch and not have to chase the kiddos. One of my favorite shots!

I thought that my number was pretty cool. 

Jumping into the coldest swim of my life. I really thought that I was going to die of hypothermia. I had a hard time catching my breath and couldn't stick my head in the water.

Like I said the corse was beautiful! I finish in 1:29:31 Which my goal was to be under 1:30. 

February Roundup!

I feel like we have been super busy lately, but not with anything big. So, here are the random pictures of February. We started saving our cans and bottles and Landon and Leah recycled them for a little extra cash:)

 Leah is into wearing headbands lately. But we can't just wear one, we have to wear ALL of them. .
 Logan got in on the action one morning. Surprisingly Leah was nice enough to share a couple.
 We are at the park A LOT! It's even better when we have friends there. .
 They do a circle game with the alphabet at story time that the kiddos love, and Logan thinks he is one of the big kids!

 Im in trouble when she starts asking for a real phone.
 
 We also had a primary activity. I was in charge of the bike obstacle course so I wasn't able to get pictures of the kids at most of the other activities. The first picture is my favorite with Leah being the only one backwards:) It was a fun and busy day!
 

Happy Valentines Day!

I love the Holidays! We had a wonderful and busy Valentines Day. I got the kids a little goody bucket. Jer started my day with a heart shaped pancake(he is so good to me). We headed over to exercise at the church where the kids exchanged valentines with all their friends that come. We had heart sandwiches for lunch and that evening we went to a Valentines dinner at the church that our YM/YW put on. The kids stayed in the nursery while we adults got to chat. It was a nice and relaxing and delicious dinner. Happy Valentines Day.

Basketball!

Jer has been playing basketball over at the navy base. I really enjoy watching him play. The team is not very good, but they are getting better every game:) It doesn't help that the only basketball any of them have played is church ball. The kids love going to his games cheering for him. The announcer even makes comments about the sponsorship of "go daddy go". The hardest part is keeping the goose off the court, he thinks its funny for me to chase him around.
